    it’s funny to look back at those (bad) ads. it tells so much about the historic cliches and the thinking of that time.

    It’s amazing to see just how much things have changed (and how PC we’ve become), isn’t it? My husband works in the ad business and he’s shown me some of these old school ads. It’s very interesting to see how much of a reflection they are on the standards of the time. I suppose it’s a great learning piece, if anything, and makes me really appreciate exactly how far our society has come (and to a degree, still has a ways to go). Great post!
